Led by the Cityline Ozone Park Civilian Patrol and City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park), at least 15 volunteers recently stuffed more than 20 bags with trash in an effort to make the South Queens community cleaner.
Ariola allocated funds in the council budget for such communal beautification events across the 32nd District.
“The funding I provided through the council will support the neighborhood cleanups and the group’s food pantry,” Ariola said.
