City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park) this week hailed the quick work of the City Sanitation Department after it cleaned up the exterior of an abandoned New Howard Beach home that has been an eyesore for many years.
The councilwoman also said that her office “is now working with the City Department of Finance and the financial institution responsible for this property for further action.”
