Hundreds of Kids Turn out for Civic’s Annual Haunt N’ Treat

Hundreds of kids beamed in their Halloween costumes Sunday morning for the Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic’s annual Haunt N’ Treat. Children dressed in their Halloween best flooded both sides of Cross Bay Boulevard to gobble up the goodies provided by participating businesses.

“Our Haunt N’ Treat was a success even in the wacky weather,” the HBL Civic said on Facebook. “Thank you to all of the businesses and groups who braved the ‘storm.’ We loved seeing all of the costumes and kiddies! Looking forward to the holiday season with all of you!”

The Halloween Haunt N’ Treat is one of the brightest dates on the calendar for the Civic and Howard Beach families.

“It was awesome!!!” Jennifer Raheb wrote on Facebook. “Thank you!!”

“Such a wonderful event for the kids,” Karen McCabe DeVito added.
