On Saturday, Mayor Adams and City Police Commissioner visited the scene of another fatal accident.
There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing, cops noted.
On Saturday, Mayor Eric Adams visited the Brooklyn scene of another fatal accident. A 35-year-old woman and her 6- and 8-year-old daughters were struck and killed by a speeding driver.
“This is extremely concerning and painful, not only to the City of New York in general, but specifically to a very close knit community. A mother gone for a simple stroll on a sunny day was struck and killed. As we pray for their families and this entire community, the city mourns this loss,” Adams said. “This is still under a preliminary investigation, but here’s what we do know. One car crashed into another striking family walking down the street. A mother and two of her children are dead, and a third child is in critical condition.”
