With the Howard Beach-Lindenwood Civic’s meeting coming on the heels of a devastating rainstorm in the area, representatives from the city Department of Environmental Protection and city Comptroller’s office will address flooding at the gathering on Tuesday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of St. Helen School, located at 83-09 157th Ave. in Howard Beach.
Please bring your city Comptroller claim forms for submission. If you don’t have a form, it will be available at the meeting.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation and the National Park Service will also be on hand to discuss the Spring Creek restoration plan.
Elected officials or their representatives, as well as civic leaders, will also be present. All are welcome to attend.
