Lead by Lt. John McGrorty (third from l.), members of the 102nd Precinct, along with the Hopes & Heroes Children’s Cancer Fund, last week donated $20,000, 85 DVD players and 75 DVD movies to New York-Presbyterian Hospital. McGrorty lost his son, Matthew, to a rare form of liver cancer in 2008; and as the 4-year-old fought the disease, his favorite activity was watching movies on his DVD player.
