State Sen. Joe Addabbo, Jr. (D-Howard Beach) this week unveiled the schedule of his upcoming mobile office hours at locations across the 15th Senate District.
On July 9, Addabbo will visit the Glendale Library at 78-60 73rd Pl.; Thursday, July 16, the Broad Channel Library, located at 16-26 Cross Bay Blvd.; Thursday, July 23, the Rego Park Library, 91-31 63rd Dr.; and Thursday, July 30, at the Woodhaven Library, 85-41 Forest Pkwy. All office hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“Everyone has different schedules and circumstances, and not every constituent is able to visit one of my three offices during the regular 9 to 5 work day,” Addabbo said. “In addition, it may not be possible for some constituents to get to one of the neighborhoods my offices are located in. That doesn’t mean they should be left out. These mobile office hours not only give people a chance to come to me when it is convenient for them, but it makes it easier for them to do so by giving me a place to meet with my constituents right in their own neighborhoods. As I have stressed in the past, it is always important to make time for one-on-one, face-to-face meetings with residents across my district, and I am happy to give us both that opportunity through these mobile office hours.”
