The city Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating four men wanted in connection with an October armed-robbery spree in Queens and Brooklyn.

On Oct. 21, around 11:30 p.m., according to detectives, the four suspects approached a food cart vendor at Rockaway Parkway and Lefferts Boulevard in South Ozone Park. One of the men brandished a gun and demanded money.  The vendor, a 33 year-old man, complied and the suspects fled the location with $300.

Approximately an hour later, the thieves threatened and robbed another vendor on Liberty Avenue and 113th Street in Richmond Hill. Again, the 44-year-old vendor acquiesced, and the quartet fled with $200.

And finally, roughly three hours after the initial incident, the suspects approached a food cart vendor at Pitkin Avenue and Euclid Avenue in East New York. One of the men flashed a gun, demanded cash, and the four men fled with another $190.

One of the perpetrators is described as a “light-skinned Hispanic” man; the other three are only described as black men who possibly fled in a light-colored minivan.

Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.com, or by texting tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
