First responders on Saturday afternoon converged on a Howard Beach bank’s parking lot after a 911 call alerted emergency services to a little child who had been left alone inside a locked vehicle, according to witnesses.
FDNY Engine Co. 331, and ambulances from Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and the West Hamilton Beach Fire Department responded to the Capital One branch on Cross Bay Boulevard and 156th Avenue around 2 p.m. and helped to quickly free the 3-year-old from the vehicle.
As of Wednesday, no charges had been filed in the case.
