The residents and business owners of Howard Beach, Hamilton Beach, Lindenwood, Ozone Park, South Ozone Park, and Richmond Hill undoubtedly have been rolling out the red carpet for the latest rookie class of cops assigned to serve and protect the 106th Precinct.
The eight new NYPD officers are part of 634 men and women that just graduated two weeks ago from the College Point academy. Police Commissioner Bill Bratton has characterized this flock of Finest as the most highly trained and technologically proficient probationary police officers in the history of the agency.
