Queens Borough President Melinda Katz recently honored dozens of community board members who have officially served their respective districts for over a decade.
Among those volunteers receiving accolades at Katz’s annual awards ceremony at Borough Hall was Community Board 10 Chairwoman Betty Braton, who has been a steward of South Queens for 40 years.
Community Board 10 represents part of Ozone Park, South Ozone Park, Howard Beach, Lindenwood, Hamilton Beach, and South Richmond Hill.
