Police busted a 34-year-old for having a loaded gun after they got a call in the early morning of Jan. 28 about gunfire in Glendale, a spokesman from the 104th Precinct said.
At 5:21 a.m. two officers responded to 21-04 Himrod Street where neighbors had called to report shots fired in front of the building there.
After investigating, the officers found their way to a third floor apartment where they found Joe Young, a man from the Bronx, with a loaded .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol, police said. Officer Sean McCarren arrested Young with the help of his partner, Officer Jason Bianchini.
They also recovered other ballistic evidence and a small amount of marijuana from the scene, police said.
