Another year, another successful holiday toy and fundraising drive for the Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic.

According to the civic, “The winner for best car for our Caravan of Christmas Cheer goes to Kim Marie! Not only did the family decorate the car nicely but they were full of cheer themselves! Congratulations!!!!!”

While 2020 has been a collection of 12 months like no other in recent memory, Saturday’s Caravan of Christmas Cheer also saw amazing levels of local volunteerism and donating.

On Tuesday, The civic visited the Our Lady of Grace Ministry of Care and Service group to bring a donation check in the amount of $465 from the Caravan of Christmas Cheer, along with some toys for them to give out to the families they service. “These ladies work tirelessly throughout the year to make sure the food pantry is well stocked and they have everything they need to provide to those in need. The community thanks you for your efforts,” the civic said.

“What can we say Howard Beach!!!! As always your support was more than anyone could ever hope for! The amount of toys that was donated was incredible!
