The commanding officer of the 106th Precinct on Wednesday announced that eight rookie cops have been assigned to the South Queens precinct.
“They are eager to start working with the community,” Capt. Jerome Bacchi said.
“Welcome,” added City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park). “May St. Michael watch over you and keep you safe.”
The 106th Precinct includes Ozone Park, South Ozone Park, Lindenwood, Howard Beach, and Old Howard Beach.
