Two of Howard Beach’s youngest residents were in the celebrity limelight last week after they both placed first in an online fashion/beauty contest hosted by FashionKids 2013 and featured on the online service, Instagram.
The international contest that originated from a host in London, ran for a week and featured babies from all over the world. But, in the end it was two tykes from Howard Beach that took home the bragging rights. Each of these beautiful babies racked up over 500 votes, crushing their competitors.
The stunning little lady winner was 18-month-old Gianna Nunziata and for the little gentlemen, it was 11-month old dashing Jaxon Jenkins. They are awaiting their prizes form the competition organizers.
Both winners were too busy and exhausted to talk to The Forum, but their parents were happy to provide some fast facts behind these two beautiful faces.

Gianna Nunziata

Daughter of Courtney and Frank
Gianna loves playing the piano and dancing. A true fashionista, she loves shopping trips with her grandmother and nana and choosing her own wardrobe, especially shoes. When her busy schedule allows for TV, this precious little lady loves watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Small Potatoes.
She has been getting around on her own two feet for a couple of months and often uses her “big brother” Mossimo, a 140 lb. Cane Corso, as support. When walking proves too tiresome, Gianna rides her “brother” around the house.
Gianna loves her fish tank and a fully equipped kitchen in her playroom. She has developed a belly laugh that’s contagious and is always willing to share a big smooch and a tight hug around the neck.
Jaxon Jenkins

Son of Danielle and Loneil
Jaxon is an avid fan of music and he loves to dance. He often accompanies his mom to work at the Steps Ahead Dance Studio she owns and is a big favorite among all the little ladies
Jaxon is a huge fan of Yo Gabba Gabba.
Although he hasn’t yet mastered walking, Jaxon gets around with a speedy crawl and tackles large distances by grabbing on to everything he can to reach his destination. He is also a master stair climber.
In his leisure time, Jaxon enjoys reading books and playing catch with his dad.
A lover of his stuffed animals, it’s difficult to find this handsome little man without a smile on his face! And if by chance you like hugs and kisses he’s your go to guy!
