The city Veterans Advisory Board last Monday held its first ever meeting in Queens at Borough Hall in Kew Gardens. The VAB, which is composed of former military service members from all five boroughs, advises the Mayor’s Office of Veterans Affairs on issues concerning the Big Apple’s veteran population.
