City Councilman Eric Ulrich (R-Ozone Park) this week announced plans for a forthcoming building expansion for PS 66 in Richmond Hill.
On his Facebook page, Ulrich posted this photo with the message, “For the past two years I have been working closely with Principal Phyllis Leinwand and School Construction Authority President Lorraine Grillo to bring this historic building into the 21st century. The new addition will accommodate 124 students with six state of the art classrooms, new bathrooms, as well as a gymnasium and cafeteria space. The plan is currently funded in the capital budget but must be approved by the NYC Landmarks Commission before any work can start.”
