The man behind a recent false bomb threat in Forest Hills is in custody and undergoing psychiatric treatment, according to police.
Brian Harrison, 56, was arraigned last Wednesday on a criminal complaint charging him with two counts each of making a terroristic threat and first-degree falsely reporting an incident, both felonies. Bail was set at $50,000 cash/$100,000 bond. According to Department of Correction records, Harrison is being evaluated at the Bellevue Hospital Prison Ward.
According to police reports, on Thursday, Oct. 13, Harrison allegedly used a pay phone in the Queens Blvd/71st Ave subway station to call 911 and state that there was a bomb at the station; he also allegedly pressed the emergency call button on the station’s elevator and said “The bomb will go off in six minutes and fifty-seven seconds.”
