Summer Wins: Hamilton Beach Baby Parade Marks the End of the Season

The Baby Parade has been a fun summer event for area families for more than 60 years.

The Hamilton Beach Baby Parade, the long running, end-of-summer tradition in which area families gather at 104 th Street to build their best floats that compete for prizes, once again did not disappoint—even if the weather did at times on Sunday.

Hosted by the New Hamilton Beach Civic Association, the unique celebration has become a showcase of inspiration, hard work, and creativity as float-building skills are tested across three categories: “Most Humorous,” “Most Original,” and “Ragamuffin.”
