Borough Sikhs last weekend celebrated the 550th birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.
Followers flocked to Richmond Hill Saturday for a parade in his honor. The festivities are organized annually by leaders of the Gurdwara Baba Makhan Shah Lubana Sikh Center on 101st Avenue in Richmond Hill (pictured).
