Cops Still Hunting for Hit-Run Driver

Investigators are still searching for the person who was behind the wheel of a car early Thursday that slammed into a pedestrian at an intersection near Victory Field in Forest Park and immediately sped away.

According to police, the man was struck around 3 a.m. where major thoroughfares Woodhaven Boulevard and Myrtle Avenue meet.

The victim, 26, was rushed to an area hospital with severe injuries. His current condition is unknown.
