102nd Precinct Detectives Look to Collar Prolific Burglar

Police said this man is responsible for five recent residential burglaries.

City Police Department detectives recently reached out to the public for help in identifying a man wanted for questioning in connection to five burglaries in Richmond Hill and Kew Gardens over the past month.
According to police reports, on Thursday, May 18, around 6 a.m., the suspect entered a residential building within the vicinity of Lefferts Boulevard and Metropolitan Avenue, used an unknown object to enter an apartment and removed jewelry.
On Monday, May 29, around 6:30 a.m., the man entered a residential building within the vicinity of Lefferts Boulevard and Metropolitan Avenue, used an unknown object to enter an apartment and removed $40,000 worth of Jewelry
It was reported to the police that on Monday, June 5, at approximately 11:15 a.m., the same man entered a residential building within the vicinity of 83rd Avenue and Kew Gardens Road, used an unknown object to enter an apartment and removed $5,500 worth of jewelry.
On Monday, June 5, around 7:45 a.m., the suspect entered a residential building within the vicinity of 115th Street and 84th Avenue in Richmond Hill, used an unknown object to enter an apartment and removed $500.00 in Canadian currency, sunglasses and a watch.
And it was reported to the police that on Monday, June 5, around 3:30 p.m., the man entered a residential building within in the vicinity of 118th Street and 83rd Avenue, used an unknown object to enter an apartment and removed $1,500 worth of jewelry.
The suspect is a black man, approximately 25-35 years of age, medium complexion.
