In anticipation of “Thank a Police Officer Day,” the thoughtful members of the Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic Association on Thursday surprised the cops at the 106th Precinct stationhouse in Ozone Park with a breakfast feast fit for the Finest.
The civic noted that the following people and establishments helped to make the event a success: State Sen. Joe Addabbo, Jr.; City Councilman Eric Ulrich; All American Bagel and Barista, DiVino’s and Aldo’s restaurants; and Almonte’s Key Food/Food Emporium.
“Thank a Police Officer Day” or “National Tell a Police Officer ‘Thank You’ Day” has been observed on the third Saturday in September since 2012.
